Coderwall is a next generation portfolio site for web developers. It allows users to create their own profile and team pages, link up all of their social media portals and most importantly their GitHub repositories.
Users unlock achievement badges for open source contributions and are able to update their profile time-line with personal or code related posts. The finer details were covered when the site was recently featured on TechCrunch.
The approach to the development on the site is extremely agile, with new ideas and features being tested out all the time. My role is to improve on the overall design of the site and advise on the visual design and branding moving forward. The site is in beta currently, with a re-brand, re-skin and full launch planned for later this year.
